Babes In Arms Policy
At Sutton Coldfield Town Hall we greatly encourage and promote access for all. Should you wish to attend performances with an infant aged below two years, they will need to be accommodated on the parent or guardian’s lap as no seat will be allocated. There will be no charge for this. Children aged two and above should have a paid for ticket. In light of such a scenario, all we ask is that (as below) if your child does become restless that, to minimise any disturbance to others, you exit the auditorium swiftly to the nearest exit.
We would kindly ask that, should your child become restless/upset and cause a disturbance, you be mindful of other audience members and exit the auditorium to the nearest exit either to the passageway waiting area or to the bar area. Once your child is settled you are welcome to re-enter the auditorium but must be allowed entry by a member of Town Hall staff to ensure there is minimal disturbance to other audience members or the acts/actors on stage.
Relaxed Performances are available with our in-house professional Christmas Pantomime each year though we cannot guarantee other shows offer the same. See more on our Relaxed Performances.
