Our Spaces

We have four key spaces at the Town Hall available for hire throughout the year, alongside a variety of outdoor spaces.

  1. Vesey Ballroom

  2. Vesey Lounge (the Vesey Ballroom and Lounge can be hired together for banqueting)

  3. Crush Hall

  4. Bedford Suite

The Town Hall also manages a couple of acres of green space at the back of the Vesey Lounge.  Use of the grounds can be used by negotiation for events, depending on requirements (since we are in a residential area). We would love to show you around and help create a vision for your special event.

We also have a wide range of technical facilities available (including high specification audio-visual equipment), which we can tailor to almost any event imaginable!

  • The Royal Town Hall allows you to source your own caterers however we highly recommend our current tenants Cornerstone Kitchen who specialise in fine dining.

  • As a venue we do charge corkage, please contact us for more information.

  • If you would like to use our bar, it is available for booking along with our professional staff who will go above and beyond to add to your special evening.

    The bar is situated in the Vesey Lounge with the kitchen next door allowing quick service.

  • The Vesey Lounge contains our Sir Doug Ellis Bar which is next to a stunning view, overlooking Sutton Coldfield Park, a 2,400 National Nature Reserve, one of the largest urban parks in Europe.

  • We can offer you a full technical package, which includes a professional technician who is able to manage the lights and run the stage, bespoke to your desired request whether that requires a microphone on the night, colourful spotlights or a great sound system to listen to your favourite tunes, we’ll make it happen.
